Napa Valley's legendary fine dining venue has always been the "must go to" restaurant for Wine Country lovers. With the opening of La Galerie, guests now have the choice of either being seen in the Michelin-starred Restaurant or enjoy a private dining experience in an artful and inspired setting.

LA GALERIE FEATURES ROTATING ARTWORK from innovative and visionary local and national artists as well as beautiful views of the Valley below. Most importantly, the dining space gives Auberge fans a new venue to choose from the already varied dining experiences currently offered — from the Restaurant to the Bistro & Bar or for hotel guests, the "La Plage" pool bar, "La Pagode" and in-room dining — as well as an intimate space for romantic dinners and anniversaries.

Auberge du Soleil has always appealed to the art lover. From the original artwork in all the rooms and the offering of art supplies for plein air drawing and painting as a guest amenity, to the Olive Grove Sculpture Garden, much thought has been given to incorporating quality art throughout the resort. The creation of La Galerie is an extension of the Auberge's legacy of marrying fine cuisine and hospitality with art. Located in the main house, La Galerie pays homage to that legacy by featuring a rotating art collection from celebrated artists. Noted native-Californian artist Tom Cies will have the honor of being the opening artist, whose work fuses late-20th century Californian themes with the French Modernist Tradition of the early 1900s.

THE ART-THEME EXTENDS TO THE DESIGN OF THE ROOM, which exudes a modern yet comfortable space that is meant to serve as a "blank canvas" for those seeking personalized dining experiences. Floor-to-ceiling windows and French doors open up to a private terrace featuring the same spectacular views of Napa Valley that can be seen from the Bistro & Bar and Restaurant next door.
