Water is essential to life; all the more reason to cherish and protect it.  Auberge du Soleil has implemented extensive water conservation measures including;

  • Partnership with WHOLE WORLD Water.  WHOLE WORLD Water is a hospitality and tourism campaign addressing the fact that nearly 1 billion people do not have access to clean drinking water.  Auberge du Soleil donates 10% of our Vivreau water sales to the WHOLE WORLD water fund.  100% of the proceeds will be invested in clean and safe water initiatives worldwide.  We donated $1,770 to WWW in 2013, from April-Dec.  To get involved, or for more information on the campaign, visit http://wholeworldwater.co/

  • Daily monitoring and tracking of property water consumption

  • La Plage pool purified by a DEL OZONE trio-pure system

  • The installation of low flow bathroom fixtures, dual flush toilets and tap aerators are guest room standards

  • Re-usable water carafes provided for hotel guests at turndown

  • We invite our hotel guests to participate in our bed linen and towel exchange program to conserve water resources by laundering only upon request

If you have not yet had the opportunity to experience Watsu, a gentle form of body therapy in warm water, come stay with us and visit the Auberge Spa, be sure to inquire about our tranquil water treatment.

Experience a profoundly relaxing aquatic movement therapy that combines gentle stretching, acupressure, and Shiatsu massage while being floated in the warm waters of our Infinity-Edge pool overlooking the Napa Valley.  Watsu uses the lightness of the body in water to free the spinal vertebrae, rotate joint articulations and elongate muscles. Your therapist will guide you through rhythmic, “dance-like” movements performed in harmony with breathing patterns to inspire the natural regeneration of the body and mind.
