The appealing climate enjoyed by Napa Valley strongly resembles that of the Mediterranean, with warm temperatures and sunny weather throughout the year. Both spring and summer have become very popular times to pay a visit to Napa Valley, when the skies are often blue and without any single clouds, and the nights are quite balmy. Throughout Napa Valley you will find outdoor dining, wineries, hiking, excellent shopping, and spa treatments – there is no better climate in California to enjoy these countless activities.

August 1 — Ottmar Liebert @ Napa Valley Opera House
Live Music: Ottmar Liebert is a German-born composer and guitarist, who has been one of the foremost practitioners of the “Nouveau Flamenco” style of music since the early 1990s. August 1 – 19Music in the Vineyards
Performing Arts: Music in the Vineyards is a nationally-acclaimed chamber music festival held each August in the Napa Valley. The three-week festival showcases world-class artists-in-residence performing new and classic chamber music repertoire in stunning winery settings. Shows begin at 5pm on August 4,5,11,12,18,and 19. August 3 — Chamber Music at Robert Mondavi Winery
Live Music: Music in the Vineyards 18th festival offers chamber concerts in beautiful wineries in Napa Valley, featuring some of the best classical musicians in the country, witty commentary and free wine at intermission. August 3 – 4 — V Foundation Wine Celebration
Celebration, Benefit: The V Wine Celebration is an annual fundraiser benefiting The V Foundation for Cancer Research. It’s a magical weekend filled with fun, entertainment, gourmet meals, and silent and live auctions; focused on one powerful purpose: finding cures for cancer. All proceeds benefit the V Foundation for Cancer Research. Fridays festivities begin at 2pm and end at 11:30pm. Saturdays festivities begin at 9:30am and end at 2:30pm. August 4 – 5 — The Mikado @ Napa Valley Opera House
