Earth Month at Auberge du Soleil
At Auberge, we choose to believe every day is Earth Day. We have had a long standing commitment to sustainability standards, and even further embraced this concept at the resort several years ago with a program we created called ‘Responsible Luxury.’ We are proud to be the first hotel in the Napa Valley certified by the Bay Area Green Business Program and one of the original partners of the Green Spa Network. Auberge du Soleil strives to live in harmony with the environment and we are dedicated to preserving and protecting the Napa Valley terroir and culture.
In honor of Earth Day, Auberge du Soleil will celebrate our community with several ‘Responsible Luxury’ initiatives throughout the month of April. A Napa Valley ‘Farm to Table’ Prix Fixe menu available from April 13 through the 23rd in our Michelin starred Restaurant, an eco-cocktail, a bio-dynamic & organic wine tasting, and an organic spa treatment are just a few of the highlights. Overnight guests at the Auberge du Soleil on Earth Day will receive a complimentary copy of the DVD Home, a visually astonishing portrait of the Earth as seen from mesmerizing aerial views. We invite you to join in our festivities as we commemorate our bountiful Earth.
Napa Valley ‘Farm to Table’ Prix Fixe Menu
April 13 through April 23: The Restaurant at Auberge du Soleil will feature a special six-course Napa Valley ‘Farm to Table’ Prix Fixe menu showcasing organic spring produce and sustainable, artisanal products sourced from within 100 miles of Auberge du Soleil. The menu items include Andante Dairy goat cheese, locally foraged mushrooms, Paine Farm Squab and Watson Lamb (menu selections are subject to change and seasonal availability.) The Napa Valley ‘Farm to Table’ Prix Fixe dinner menu will be available for $140 per person, replacing our existing tasting menu. Wine Director, Kris Margerum, will pair the best organic and bio-dynamic wines selected from Northern California, pricing will vary based on the selections. Earth Day Wine Tasting Event
On Friday, April 22, in celebration of Earth Day, Auberge du Soleil will host a complimentary tasting of organic and bio-dynamic wines. Araujo, Frog’s Leap, Staglin, Robert Sinskey, Unti, and Grgich Hills will be participating in the wine tasting event. A selection of canapes prepared with local and organic ingredients by Executive Chef Robert Curry will complement the featured wines.
The bar staff at the Auberge Bistro & Bar are shaking up a refreshing eco-cocktail in tribute to Earth Day during the month of April. This unique cocktail draws awareness to the plight of the honey bee and is composed of local and seasonal ingredients. Ask for the ‘Bee-22’, a tangy blend of Marshall’s Farm wildflower honey, San Francisco’s No. 209 Gin, Philo Apple Farm’s apple cider syrup, fresh rosemary from our garden, and meyer lemon juice.

Earth Bliss: A two hour treatment based on elements of the earth, including local Calistoga mud and River Stones.
Begin your treatment with a mineral-enriched volcanic mud mask applied to your body; while wrapped to increase your body temperature and to enhance the purifying aspects of the Calistoga mud, you will enjoy a short scalp and foot massage as cool compresses infused with essential oils are applied to your face. After showering off the mud in a luxurious private outdoor garden shower, retreat back inside for a warm and relaxing 90 minute Sacred Stone massage. Finish this two hour experience with a brief balancing of your chakras to bring you more in tune with nature and mother earth. $390.00 per guest
