August in the Napa Valley


The appealing climate enjoyed by Napa Valley strongly resembles that of the Mediterranean, with warm temperatures and sunny weather throughout the year. Both spring and summer have become very popular times to pay a visit to Napa Valley, when the skies are often blue and without any single clouds, and the nights are quite balmy. Throughout Napa Valley you will find outdoor dining, wineries, hiking, excellent shopping, and spa treatments – there is no better climate in California to enjoy these countless activities.

August 4 – 22 — Music in the Vineyards

August 6 — CHEERS! St. Helena- CHEERS! St. Helena is a non-profit friendship celebration in downtown St. Helena.  Join us from 6pm-9pm on the 1st Friday of every month.  Enjoy our wine, restaurants and entertainment, and shops.  Bring your friends, meet new friends and welcome visitors as we celebrate with a toast to how special and amazing it is to be here in St. Helena, the heart of the Napa Valley.                                                  Cost: Attending CHEERS! is free. August 10 — Napa Town & Country Fair Gala & Winetasting

August 11 – 15 — Napa Town & Country Fair

August 21 — Napa Valley Art Festival
Exhibition, Benefit: The Napa Valley Art Festival is a juried exhibit and sale of over 300 original paintings by 30 of the West’s premier representational artists. A portion of the sales will benefit Connolly Ranch Education Center. Held at the Yountville Community Center.

Nights Friday Nights – Jun 4-Sep 17
2010 Summer Concerts in the heart of downtown Napa is the renovated Veterans Memorial Park Amphitheater. The Amphitheater is located along the Napa Riverwalk Promenade and is within walking distances of many world-class restaurants.
