Auction Napa Valley 2010

Auction Napa Valley 2010
The American Wine Classic
June 3-6, 2010

The 30th anniversary Auction Napa Valley, which has raised $90 million for Napa Valley nonprofits in its 29 years, begins with bidder’s parties throughout the Napa Valley tonight and Friday night.

Since 1981, members of the Napa Valley Vintners and the Napa Valley community have rallied together to offer, each June, an experience unlike any other. What started as a small event has grown into one of the world’s most renowned wine auctions—with more than 350 wineries and 550 community volunteers now taking par—yet remains true to its goal of raising funds for healthcare, housing and youth services non-profits.

Be sure to check out the 2010 Live Auction Lot #12 – “All Access Napa Valley” – 18 bottles of wine – 5 of which are Shafer Hillside Select magnums, and an exclusive private dinner at Shafer Vineyards winery.  A second dinner for 6 will be at the famed French Laundry.   But, the real icing on the cake for you and your friends will be the three-night, luxury stay and spa experience at Auberge du Soleil!

On Saturday afternoon, Auberge du Soleil’s own Executive Pastry Chef, Paul Lemieux, will be in attendance.  Paul Lemieux will be amongst the eleven acclaimed chefs from across the U.S. to prepare a pre-Auction lunch.  Look for Chef Lemieux in the Dessert Tent dishing up Picholine Shortcakes, Fromage Blanc Mousse, with Trailside Strawberries.
