Auberge du Soleil strives to live in harmony with the environment and we are dedicated to preserving the Napa Valley terroir and culture.
We are proud to be the first hotel certified within the Napa Valley by the Bay Area Green Business Program.
We are very excited about our recent participation in the Upper Valley Recycling pilot food composting program.
Chef Robert Curry sources ingredients locally and regionally while emphasizing sustainable, organic and seasonal products.
Our Associates are introduced to our “Responsible Luxury” philosophy during orientation and we promote a sustainable culture by providing tools and training for our associates.
Auberge du Soleil supports our community by contributing substantial in-kind donations to a large number of charities, giving $2 per year of each guest reservation to local environmental endeavors and by attending local events. We most recently attended the first annual Napa Local Food Forum, the Public Meeting on Climate Action Planning in Napa County, and the 2010 Napa Valley Earth Day River Clean-Up. Auberge is also an active member and supporter of The Napa Valley Vine Trail, a grassroots effort to implement a multi-use hiking & biking trail from Calistoga to Vallejo.
We are confident that by implementing ecological practices and encouraging our guests, employees, and community to be stewards of the Napa Valley, we will limit our environmental footprint and inspire a more conscious daily lifestyle.
